Members of the Carrickmacross-Castleblayney Municipal District have unanimously approved the implementation of a new initiative. This initiative is aimed at facilitating property owners wanting to undertake maintenance work to building facades in local Towns and Villages.
Effective immediately, for a period up to and including the 31st of July 2023, the local authority is waiving the application fees for hoarding licences.
This is to facilitate the cleaning, painting and decorating, and the carrying out of minor repair works (e.g. replacement of guttering) to building facades in Towns and Villages across the MD.
