A local sports facility says today’s funding boost is ‘massive’ for them.
The Peacelink Campus in Clones was just one of 10 community groups across the Shannonside Northern Sound Region to receive Covid-Stability Funding today.
The scheme was set up to support organisations which have seen their incomes suffer as a result of the pandemic and manager at the Peacelink Fergal Corrigan says it will go a long way to helping keep their doors open.

He says that despite Covid they are still aiming to develop the facility into a High Performance Centre for athletes and the local community:
