Local TDs have their say on Dail motion around Irish Unity

Two local TDs have engaged in a debate on a recent motion that came before the Dail on Irish Unity.

Matt Carthy and Brendan Smith each gave their take on the issue on the Joe Finnegan show this morning.

Matt Carthy's party Sinn Fein put a determined effort to put in place legislation for the planning and preparation of Irish Unity.

The bill was voted down in the Dail.
