The power of social media may have helped one Cavan man find true love.
Last Saturday night, a Cavan farmer visiting Mullingar for Sunday's match against Westmeath hit it off with a lady in The Chambers Bar. However, he never got her name, and decided to try his luck messaging the bar to try and track her down. The pub posted his message to Facebook and it went viral, with everyone desperate to find her. On Monday, it was announced that, through the power of social media, she had been found and the two are now planning their first date.
Rachel from The Chambers Bar in Mullingar says they never expected the post to get so much traction, but it seems to be a match made in heaven.
