Man accused of causing house fire in Derrylin that killed family of four denies murder

The man accused of causing a house fire in Derrylin that killed a family of four has denied murder.
29 year old Daniel Sebastian Allen with an address at Molly Road, Derrylin appeared in Court via videolink this afternoon.

45 year old Denise Gossett, her 16 year old son Roman, his 19 year old sister Sabrina and her 15 month old daughter Morgana died in a fire at their rented home at 57 Milly Road, Derrylin on February 27th 2018.

As well as being charged with their murder, Daniel Sebastian Allen is also accused of arson at the bungalow, endangering life.
Appearing before Dungannon Crown Court sitting in Belfast from video link at Maghaberry prison where he’s being held, Allen pleaded not guilty to all charges.

He was remanded in custody and the case is to be reviewed by Mr Justice O’Hara in September.

No trial date was set at today’s hearing due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
