A man was airlifted to hospital following a road collision in County Cavan yesterday morning.
The single vehicle collision happened on the R178 just outside of Shercock, on the Bailieboro road.
It's understood the casualty is being treated for injuries believed to be non-life threatening after he was airlifted to Our Lady of Lourdes hospital in Drogheda.

The road was closed for a number of hours following the collision.
