Man appears in court in connection to robbery at Lordship Credit Union

The man is due back in court next Wednesday.

A 33-year-old man has appeared in court charged in connection with a robbery at Lordship Credit Union in Co Louth in 2013, during which Detective Garda Adrian Donohoe was shot dead.

Brendan Treanor, of Emer Terrace, Castletown Road, Dundalk, is due back in court next Wednesday.

Aaron Brady is serving a life-sentence after being convicted of murdering Mr Donohoe last year.

Meanwhile, a second man has been arrested in London today in connection with the robbery.
