A man has been charged in relation to a "serious assault" that occurred in Castleblayney in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Shortly after midnight on Tuesday, April 27th, gardaí and emergency services attended at a house at Ard na Logan, where a man in his late 20s was found with apparent stab wounds.
He was treated at the scene by ambulance personnel and taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital Drogheda.

A man in his 20s was arrested at the scene, detained at Castleblayney Garda Station, and appeared before Cavan District Court yesterday.
