Gardaí who were investigating an incident of endangerment that occurred in Monaghan town on Monday 26th December 2022 have arrested and charged a man in connection with the investigation.
Shortly before 3pm on 26th December last, a man in his 20s was injured following an incident involving a vehicle and another man in Peter's Lake car park in the town
The injured man did not require medical attention.
Following enquiries by investigating Gardaí a man in his 50s was arrested and charged in connection with this incident and is appearing before Monaghan District Court this afternoon.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident involving to contact them.
Any person who was in the Peter's Lake car park and surrounding areas on St. Stephen's Day last between 2pm and 4pm is asked to contact investigating Gardaí.
