A Monaghan fashion designer says significant progress has been made in making clothing more sustainable.
The EU is taking steps to reduce fast fashion, by making clothes more durable and easier to repair.
Under proposed plans being considered by member states, environmental labels will be mandatory on clothes and more textiles will be made from recycled fibres.
