A Monaghan professor is working to create a glossary of scientific terms for deaf students.
Dr Elizabeth Mathews from DCU's School of Inclusive and Special Education is part of the team developing the Irish Sign Language STEM glossary.
It's aimed that this glossary will give deaf students the opportunity to fully engage with science and technology courses and break down barriers to education.

Elizabeth says ISL is constantly developing and this is part of that.
