Monaghan property prices stay steady in Q2 

There were 108 properties for sale in Monaghan at the end of Q2 2025 - an increase of 30% over the quarter.

Co Monaghan is the third most affordable county to purchase a house in the country.

Property prices in Monaghan have stayed flat during Q2 of this year, according to the latest MyHome Property Price Report.

The report for Q2 2025, in association with Bank of Ireland, shows that the median asking price for a property in the county is still €200,000.

This means that Monaghan was the tied-third most affordable county in the country in Q2, even though prices have risen by €2,500 compared with this time last year.

Asking prices for a 3-bed semi-detached house in the county fell €5,000 over the quarter to €200,000. This means that prices in the segment have risen by €12,500 compared to this time last year.

Meanwhile, the asking price for a 4-bed semi-detached house in Monaghan stayed steady over the quarter at €250,000. This price is up by €10,000 compared to this time last year.
