A motorbike has been seized by Cavan Gardaí after the rider came to the attention of officers. The motorbike had neither number plate nor wing mirror when gardaí pulled it over. Officers also established the vehicle had not been taxed since April 2024. The owner has been asked to produce an insurance cert for the motorbike, which, in the meantime was detained under Section 41 of the Road Traffic Act.
