Motorcyclists descend on Monaghan town this afternoon for special Christmas parade

Motorcyclists are descending on Monaghan town this afternoon for a special
Christmas parade.

Organised by the Bad Examples Motorcycle Club, the Monaghan Town Polar
Express is touring local housing estates for a good cause.

After the success of a similar event in 2020, it's being brought back and is
part of a fundraiser to get a wheelchair car for Cootehill's Amelie
McCormack, who has a rare condition called Rett Syndrome.

The convoy is rolling out from Sam's Bridge at 3pm and will visit a number
of housing estates before doing a lap of the town and parking outside the
Courthouse.

Kieran Brennan from Bad Examples MCC says there was never any doubt about
them getting involved.
