The new Killeshandra Primary Care Centre has opened its doors for the first time today.
The facility located on Main Street in the town will provide a range of community healthcare services.
When fully operational these services will include Public Health Nursing, Dietetics, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy, Social Work and Chronic Disease interventions.
This marks the third Primary Care Centre in Cavan Monaghan to open its doors over the past number of weeks.
The North Monaghan Primary Care Centre on the St Davnet’s Campus in Monaghan Town and Clones Primary Care Centre on 98 Avenue in Clones Town both became operational last month. Killeshandra Lakeside Medical Practice is also operating from the primary care centre.
