A new online hub for Cavan food and drink retailers, producers, and the hospitality sector has launched.
CreatedinCavan.ie was developed by Cavan County Council in partnership with the Cavan Food Network after they secured funding from the Department.
The aim of the website is to promote 'the Cavan food story' and increase food tourism locally, as well as encouraging retail and foodservice outlets to purchase Cavan produce.
All of this falls under the 'Created in Cavan' brand that launched in 2019 and brings together a network of growers, producers, restaurants, cafés, hotels, and retailers in the county.
Deirdre Donnelly, Cavan County Council's Food Strategy Co-ordinator, says in time the website will be used to promote events:
