Number of fixed charged penalty notices issued in Monaghan

Monaghan Roads Policing Unit has issued a number of fixed charged penalty notices.

In the Carrickmacross District, the unit detected a driver who was positive for cocaine.

Also a learner driver unaccompanied while driving was detected, the vehicle was seized and a fixed charge penalty notice to follow for no L plates and driving unaccompanied.

A number of fixed charged penalty notices issued for, three drivers without valid tax, three drivers without valid NCT and four passengers detected not wearing their safety belt.
