Opening of Mental Health services in Monaghan postponed due to Cresslough

The official opening of Blackwater House, Monaghan, and the launch of the Cavan Monaghan Suicide Crisis Assessment Nurse service (SCAN) which was due to take place today has been deferred as a mark of respect to those who died in Cresslough.

The official opening of the Adult Mental Health Unit Sligo and the launch of the Community Healthcare Cavan, Donegal, Leitrim, Monaghan, Sligo Connecting for Life Implementation plan 2022 - 2024 has also been postponed.

Both events were planned to coincide with World Mental Health Day which takes place today. Meanwhile, HSE, and Ministers Frank Feighan and Heather Humphreys have expressed their heartfelt sympathies to the community of Creeslough.
