A local TV presenter says her passion for property programmes helped inspire her most recent work.

Viewers can spot Monaghan woman, Tessa Fleming, on RTÉ's new hit-series, Bog Amach, which is all about finding houses for people who want to re-locate to the Irish countryside.

Speaking on the Joe Finnegan show earlier today, the former Northern Sound journalist spoke about her personal love for the Irish countryside, adding that there is a "real sense of community" in rural areas as opposed to the city.
