A local Aontú Senator believes all pension overpayments should be repaid.
Public Expenditure Minister, Jack Chambers, announced a review of pension payments to Ministers this week after errors resulting in over and under payments dating back 20 years were revealed.
In one case a senior civil servant was overpaid by €280,000.

An external audit of the NSSO will also be commissioned to examine 13,000 accounts.
Speaking on the Joe Finnegan Show this morning, Cavan Senator, Sarah O'Reilly says there has to be accountability, and overpayments must be repaid.
