A planning application for 20 houses in Carrickmacross has been lodged in recent days.
The planning permission consists of the demolition of 3 existing dwellings and outbuildings and replacing them with a housing scheme totalling 20 two- storey dwellings.
Eakin Developments Ltd have applied to the county planners for the planned homes is in Mullanarry, Carrickmacross.

The plans are for four 2 Bedroom properties, ten three bedroom properties and six 4 Bedroom units with the entrance onto Mullinary Street in the town. Monaghan County Council will make their decision on the application in early March.
