A Monaghan town publican has said it's time to end restrictions in the hospitality sector.
Raymond Aughey who runs the Squealing Pig highlighted on the Joe Finnegan Show this morning how the sector has been the "whipping boy" for the national cause during the pandemic.
He says time has come to end restrictions and "get on with business".
And, in his role on the Vintners Federation of Ireland, Mr Aughey says members "just want to get back to normal" and restore customer confidence in the sector.
"Most members just want things to get back to normal," he added.
"We are going to have to get our businesses up and running again.
"And, we are going to have the get the confidence of people to come out to us again."
