Several motorists have been arrested in Monaghan for driving while intoxicated.
On Sunday night, Monaghan gardaí Monaghan detected three motorists driving under the influence of drink or drugs.
The first driver failed the roadside oral fluid test and tested positive for cocaine.

Two other drivers were arrested on suspicion of drunk driving after failing the roadside breath test.
Two of the vehicles were also detained for having no tax.
