A local man has officially launched a new song for the Monaghan GAA senior football team ahead of their semi-final game against Dublin in Croke Park next weekend.
The song entitled 'Monaghan is Number one of 32' was launched this afternoon in Sound Quality in the town.
Tommy McCormick who has written and performed the song hopes it will become the anthem of the big game right across the Farney County.
All proceeds from the sale of the CD will go to the Monaghan MS Branch.
Tommy says he hopes people from across the county gets behind this soundtrack.
Monaghan senior Manager Vinny Corey was at the launch that took place earlier in the town and he says the build up to the big game is great and especially seeing the local MS branch benefiting from this new song being released.
