An evening with Shane Hannon on all things space related is planned for later this evening.
The talk is taking place in the Market House in Monaghan Town from 7pm and tickets are free.
The event is in conjunction with Cavan Monaghan Science Festival that's currently underway. Twelve American men walked on the surface of the Moon between 1969 and 1972, on six different landings.

Shane says he has been lucky enough to have met seven of them and heard about their surreal experience to have walked on the moon. Newstalk broadcaster and Monaghan man Shane Hannon has had a love for all things space related since he was a young child and is looking forward to sharing his passion with others in Monaghan tonight.
