A special film is set to be screened in Cavan Town tonight to coincide with the Cavan Calling Festival. The film entitled 'An Ancient Hush' will be projected on to Cavan Courthouse at 10pm.

The film features five local communities and a historian who respond to the heritage of five well known ancient sites right across the Breffni County.

This is a free screening event that is open for everyone to attend and will run from 10pm until midnight. Cavan's Heritage Officer Ann Marie Ward says people from across the region are very interested in knowing more about these historic sites that have been chosen to feature in the film.
