Edward's father says the Kevin Bell Repatriation Fund "took the weight" off the family's shoulders during their time of grief.

A table quiz is taking place tomorrow night in memory of Cavan native Edward Reilly, who passed away in the Netherlands after going missing.

The quiz, taking place on what would have been Edward's 40th birthday, will raise funds in aid of the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust.

Edward went missing in the Netherlands in February after leaving a cafe.

Dutch police subsequently launched an investigation and Mr Reilly's body was discovered in water between Almere and Amsterdam around two weeks later.

Edward's father Martin says the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust does incredible work and "took the weight" off the family's shoulders during their time of grief.

The quiz will take place tomorrow night in the Pikers Lodge, Gowna, at 8.30pm.

Speaking on The Wider View, Martin Reilly said the money raised will help other families who have "this come to their front door":
