Tánaiste says Ballybay Food Hub shows vision for rural Ireland

The food hub was officially opened this morning.

The Tánaiste says the Ballybay Food Hub represents the government's "vision for the future of rural Ireland".

Leo Varadkar, local Minister Heather Humphreys, and County Council Cathaoirleach Aidan Campbell officially opening the Food Hub in a visit this afternoon.

The Ballybay Food Hub offers test Kitchen facilities to both start-up and established businesses to enable them to test their new product ideas before scaling up.
