Year round, the Tesco Community Fund provides financial support to local good causes and community groups that matter most to its colleagues, customers, and communities across Ireland.  Launched in 2014, the Tesco Community Fund is a platform through which each Tesco store can provide financial support to good causes within its local community. Now in its eighth year, the Community Fund campaign continues to provide vital support to community groups across Ireland.

Tesco has increased the fund and is making one million euro in funding available to local good causes up and down the country. Since its introduction, Tesco has donated over 6m to over 21,000 local community projects nationwide.

Each time a customer shops in a Tesco store, they can vote for their preferred cause to receive funding using the familiar blue tokens which are now made from fully recyclable materials. At the end of the 12-week-campaign, votes are counted, and up to 2,000 euro is shared between three local groups.
