Three motorists in Co Monaghan were arrested for drink-driving offences over the weekend.
A male driver was arrested after losing control of his car and crashing the vehicle, but no one was injured in the incident.
A second motorist was stopped for having no taxed displayed and found to be driving under the influence of alcohol.

There was also a bench warrant in existence for this individual.
The third driver tried to evade capture but was intercepted by gardaí and arrested.
All three drivers now face Court proceedings after being charged and local gardaí have used the incidents to remind the public to never drive while under the influence of drink or drugs.
