Two men have appeared in Court after being arrested for dangerous driving in Monaghan town.
On Monday evening, Gardaí received reports of three cars driving erratically on the N2 on the outskirts of town.
They were intercepted by patrol cars and two of the drivers were arrested, while the third driver failed to stop.

Investigations later revealed one of the cars has been stolen in Dublin last week.
Both men were charged with related offences and appeared before the Courts in Dublin yesterday where they were remanded in custody.
