Two Cavan entrepreneurs are hoping to introduce their new app to retailers in the region.
TapIt has been developed by Gavin Duffy from Cavan Town, and Garrett Dunne from Kingscourt and rewards shoppers for staying local through loyalty points as well as helping retailers promote their business.
It was launched in Drogheda in July, expanding to businesses in Dundalk, and now the pair have plans to bring it to other counties in the North East to allow small and medium businesses compete with large retailers in the wake of Covid-19.
