Two police officers have been injured after their patrol car was rammed in south Armagh. It happened while they attempted to stop a car acting suspiciously in the Cullaville Road area of Crossmaglen at about 9:10 last night.
The red Hyundai i20 failed to stop before driving into the police car at speed and the male driver then made off on foot. Meanwhile, one of the officers was taken to hospital with a back injury.
The PSNI is appealing to anyone who saw the red Hyundai i20 in the area or those with information on the driver to come forward.
