There has been up on 350 new social homes delivered in Cavan since 2022.
212 new units were completed from 2022 to 2024 with119 new units completed in 2025.
So far this year 9 units have been completed to date this year, which includes 4 in Slí na Coille, Belturbet.
146 homes are currently under construction, and a further 220 units are at various stages of design and planning across the county.
Among those currently under construction are 7 units at the Palais, Belturbet, 9 units at Widow's Row, Belturbet, and 4 units at Flynn's Pub, Kilconny along with 3 units at the Duckin' Stool Belturbet were also recently completed.
All of these were derelict or vacant properties that are now being converted into modern, energy efficient social homes.
Cavan County Council also recently delivered 43 houses in a turnkey development at Black Ridge, Ballyconnell.
