Celebrations took place in Virginia after a popular Indian restaurant recently secured a number of accolades in the Irish Curry Awards.
Indian Tandoori was crowned 'Overall Winner' among all Indian restaurants in Ireland, as well as 'Regional Winner' in Ulster and 'Team of The Year'.
Manager, Emadul Choudhury told Northern Sound that he is very grateful to his loyal customers for nominating the business in the first instance.
He said the combination of local produce and passionate staff makes Indian Tandoori the success that it is.
Emadul added that while he was cofident that the restaurant would secure an award on the night, clinching the overall winner was a big surprise.
"I'm very thankful to have the great support from local people. They always come here for their parties; Christmas parties, birthday parties, retirement parties and personal parties; and so they are very good support to us," he said.
