Woman who died in Carrick on Shannon boat fire named

The woman who died in a fire at the Marina in Carrick on Shannon has been named as Deirdre Finn.

She was a member of an Garda Siochána and was attached to Dun Laoghaire Garda Station.

Her body has been removed from the scene to Sligo University Hospital Mortuary where a post mortem will take place tomorrow,

Miss Finn was off duty while in Carrick on Shannon.
