Listen Back: Book remembers the Reavey brothers. The Killing of the Reavey Brothers; co-authored by Eugene Reavey and journalist Ken Murray; is a harrowing and deeply personal account of one of the darkest chapters of the Troubles in Northern Ireland.
Published to mark the 50th anniversary of the atrocity, the book chronicles the night of January 4, 1976. This is the night when Eugene's three brothers; John Martin (24), Brian (22), and Anthony (17); were brutally gunned down in their South Armagh home.
Paddy McGinn now resides in Carrickmacross, but was raised beside the Reavey family.
Paddy has organised a book signing of this publication. Moreover, this will take place on the 14th of July at 7pm in the Riverbank Restaurant.
Jodie Curran spoke with Paddy about the Reavey story; and why it is important for him to organise the upcoming book signing.
