Cavan needs more services and facilities for children and adults with additional needs. The issue raised at the monthly Cavan County Council this week. Furthermore, Fianna Fáil Councillor Philip Brady called for more educational supports for children with additional needs.
His motion received widespread support from councillors from all parties who each said they learned of many distressing life stories from families on the doorsteps during the recent local election canvass.
