A Cavan personal trainer is on a mission to help an older cohort to get fitter and healthier.
Garry Brazil who lives in Crosserlough says its wonderful to help others feel better and see their confidence build also.
Gary himself went full circle with his own fitness journey and says the turning point was the emergence of the Covid Pandemic lockdowns.
He said he was stuck in a rut and first put it down to getting close to 50 years of age.
The now 54-year-old is helping the 40 plus cohort who he says sometimes gets forgotten about when it comes to going to the gym and being more active.
Gary says everyone can always improve their fitness levels but the changes that are being made has to be sustainable.
He says getting out and moving is crucial for a healthy longer life.
The personal trainer says awareness and education is very important and he joined Ronan Gargan on today's show.
