Moreover, this morning's announcement is that €1.23 million will go to 18 projects across the Northern Sound region.
Furthermore, County Cavan will receive €652,359 for nine projects; while County Monaghan will benefit from €580,659 for a further nine projects. Indeed these projects delivering significant improvements to playgrounds, sports facilities and community amenities across both counties.
Speaking to Northern Sound, Minister Smyth said the funding does critical work to upgrade facilities across the region.
She told Maitiú Monaghan in detail how the projects will benefit the local community.
