Mark Sherry will represent Monaghan at the 19th Annual Mr Personality Festival.
This year's festival will take place at the Langton's Hotel in Kilkenny this weekend during the 10th and 12th of April.
26 year old Mark is an active member of Scotstown Macra. Speaking to Northern Sound ahead of the event, Niall says he is "looking forward" to the event and it's a first for the local man.

The manufacturing engineer won the North West best new member 2025 at the Macra Rally and is hoping for further success this weekend.
Mark says a party piece is required for the event but he is still to work that one out. He will perform a rendition of Jackie Wilson's Reet Petite in a bid to impress the judges. Mark joined Ronan Gargan on the show earlier.
