New principal James Sherry shares thoughts on results day. New principal of St Louis Secondary School in Monaghan Town, James Sherry expressed his "delight" over Friday’s Leaving Cert results.
He told Northern Sound that he remembers this cohort of girls when they first entered the school hall as first years. Furthermore, he says it's a "privilege" to see their transition; and how they have blossomed over the last six years to reach their fullest potential.
He said it's a "tremendous occasion" to see the Leaving Cert students as they gear up to move on to the next stage in their lives.
Speaking on his new appointment as principal, Mr Sherry told Northern Sound that he is "delighted" to be appointed to principal of St Louis Secondary School. Moreover, he praises the “respectful relationship” between students and staff which allows every student to progress to the best of their ability.
