Sinn Féin’s Sinead Flynn has been elected chair of the Ballybay Clones Municipal District.
The first time councillor was elected just over one year ago; when she put her name forward for the first time to be an elected member of Monaghan County Councillor.
Furthermore, the Threemilehouse business woman was proposed by her Sinn Fein colleague, Cllr Pat Treanor; and her appointment was seconded by Cllr Seamus Coyle.
