Listen Back: The big six for Aidan not once but twice. Three local lads from Castleblayney travelled out to Tokyo over the weekend to take part in the city marathon that has been running for the past 19 years in Japan.
Cllr Aidan Campbell, Derek Callaghan and Alan Clarke all travelled to the capital of Japan for Sunday's marathon that saw 35,000 people compete in.
The three members of Blaney Rockets have competed in various marathons across the world in recent years. 2,500 of the strong 45,000 race received major medal following competing in other cities across the world.
Aidan Campbell says the 26.2 miles race was wonderful and found the trip to Tokyo has a great experience. The local men also got an opportunity today to visit the Irish embassy in Tokyo.
The six World Marathon Majors of Berlin, Boston, Chicago, London, New York and Tokyo are high on the bucket list of most runners.
Aidan who is a prominent marathon runner completed the the big six not once but twice and he joined Ronan from Tokyo on the programme.
