Listen Back: The Christmas Lights Vehicle Parade Cavan. The Christmas Lights Vehicle Parade is back for 2025 and it's even bigger and better.
The event renamed in honour of their friend and colleague, Kevin Smith. The annual charity event has raised over €365,000 for local charities since its inception.
The event starts at Cavan Equestrian Centre - departing at 5pm on Sunday and arriving into Cavan Town.
Kevin Smith sadly passed away on December 29th 2022. Kevin a much loved man in the community who endeared himself to so many people in different walks of life; and he has truly left a lasting impression on those he met through his friendliness and good humour.
Kevin's Christmas Lights are supporting Cuan Cavan, St Christophers Hospice Cavan, Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust & Vincent Magee Benefit Fund.
He was a former treasurer of his native club Killygarry and after he moved to live in Crosserlough he quickly became involved with the club serving as vice-chairman and then chairman and was development officer at the time of his passing.
