At half-time Emyvale lead 1-7 to 1-6. Second-half points from Karl Gallagher, Niall McKenna, Aidan McKenna and Stephen Askin had Emyvale in a healthy position.

Emyvale advance to the provincial semi-finals where they will now face Munterconnaught.
