Monaghan Dart player Shane Mc Guirk just missed out on a PDC tour card at the Qualifying school this week.
The Castleblayney man, who had a 9 dart finish on day 2 of the event just missed out by 1 point in claiming one of the 29 cards up for grabs as his steady progression up through the field seen him reach the last 8 yesterday.
Over 650 players entered the school this year, vying for a 2 season tour card which were available by winning each day and also gaining points with games won and moving up a league table.
