Elizabeth (Lil) Donoghue (nee Saunders) died on Monday, 19th February, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Pre-deceased by her husband Cathal and son Ciaran. Lil will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her loving family, her sons; Paul (Gemma), Vincent (Carrie) & Donal, her daughter Patricia (Sean), grandchildren; Bronagh, Lorcan, Danielle, Christian, Dylan, Nicholas, Jake, Molly, Grace, Emily, Holly & Elle and great-grandchildren; Rory & Aoife, her sisters; Rosaline (Jimmy Treanor) & Maureen and brother Tommy, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Lil’s remains will repose at her residence on Tuesday from 5pm – 9pm, house private at all other times please. Removal on Wednesday evening to arrive at St.Macartan’s Cathedral, Monaghan for evening prayers at 7.30pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday morning at 11am. Burial afterwards at Calvary Cemetery, Latlurcan. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to Crocus Monaghan c/o Peter McMahon, McMahon’s Funeral Home, Emyvale or any family member.
