Eugene ((Janie) Smith passed away on Tuesday, February 20th, peacefully at his daughter Mary Delaney's home, surrounded by his loving family.

Recently predeceased by his brother Vincent (London), his wife Mary, his grandson Simon and grand daughter Emma and great grandson Daniel, his sister Mary and brothers Peter and Nicholas.

Sadly missed by his loving daughter Mary and his son Patsy (Carlanstown), his son in law Joe, his daughter in law Mary, his grandchildren Sharon (Finnegan), Wayne, Peter, Donna and Kelly, his fourteen great grandchildren, his sisters Eileen and Peggy, brothers in law, sister in law, nieces, neph­ews, relatives and a wide circle of friends.

Eugene will repose at Matthews Funeral Home on Wednesday (A82YV58) from 4pm until prayers at 8pm. Removal to St. Ultan's Church, Killinkere on Thursday for 11.30am Funeral Mass with burial afterwards in St. Anne's Cemetery, Bailieborough. House strictly private at all times please.
