John Patrick Clarke passed away on Monday, February 5th 2024, peacefully and unexpectedly at Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by his family.

Predeceased by his wife Loretta (née McHugh, Frosses, Co. Donegal).

Sadly missed by his daughters Mary (Eric), Olive, Patricia (Joe), Emer (Tomás) and Eileen (Tom), his son John (Deirdre), grandchildren Aoibh, Cara, Lúí, Énrí, Sophie, Jake, Cillian, Eibhlin and Ellen, brothers Colm and Seamus, sister Mary (Finnegan), brother in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

May he rest in peace.

Reposing at his home on Wednesday  from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. House private at other times please. Removal from his home on Thursday morning at 10.15 a.m., arriving at St. Macartan’s Cathedral, Monaghan for funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s New Cemetery, Latlurcan. Family flowers only please.
